Question by Aurora Storm: Could you help me with me “taxes”?
I’m 16, so I only pay income tax (which I’ll get back after) and unemployment insurance. I live in Canada (but am not sure of the rates). I should have about $ 324 per week on my paystub. How much of this, per week, will be deducted? Thanks.
I won’t make enough in a year for income tax to be taken from me permanently – I get it back after filling out and shipping off forms. That doesn’t matter in the short term, though (which is what I’m focusing on). I just need a rough estimation of what deductions my pay cheque will have.
I live in Alberta.

Best answer:

Answer by qbadge
it depends on your claim amounts and how much you will be making in a year. if you will make more money than your total claim amount (when you were hired you filled out two some tax forms, those were the claim forms) in a year than you will be deducted income tax and you don’t get all income tax you pay back, you can get an income tax refund when you file your tax return and if cra agreed you paid more taxes than you needed to depending on the amount of tax credits and deductions.

What do you think? Answer below!
