I’m a little confused with Obama’s thinking, and I voted for him!
We have 10 million PLUS unemployed in this Country. Many do not even qualify for Unemployment.
So what the hell good is this whopping “$ 13.00″ going to do for them considering they don’t even receive a “Paycheck??”
Not “one” answer from the right. . .
Was this such a tough question, that all you could respond was “babbling?”

The 10 million unemployed aren’t down to Obama, btw. There are also other measures in place to help those folks. Its a RECESSION…in case you hadn’t noticed. Whining doesn’t really help.

Those that do qualify for unemployment are going to get their checks for a little bit longer. The stimulus package is aimed at creating jobs and giving tax cuts to the people that do have jobs so they in turn will go out and spend their extra money in the economy. Whether that’s how it will work or not is still up for debate.
I did not vote for him. Subtract the taxes from your $ 13.00 you get $ 10.40 extra Yhee–HA!

Well Obama’s big plan is that the people spend this $ 13.00 spurring the economy and resulting in hiring. However, $ 13 isn’t near enough but instead of giving the people money to spend he spent it.
If you smoke , now that there is a 60 cents extra tax on smokes that 13.00 a week may cover that.
That’s the thing. His thinking is not relevant. The empty speeches, have no backup. I am sorry you’ve been deceived. You seem like a decent person. The thing is, we’ve all been screwed with this muppet in the seat!
Well, at least you got to the part where it’s $ 13 a week in your paycheck. The obama voters who work with my daughter are all excited about the $ 800 check obama (“their man”) is going to send them. They have no clue…….

what will the $ 13 do for us (only one paycheck here)…….we’ll boost it up a bit and put it the grand kids savings accounts. They are going to need it by the time they are adults and footing the payback on this package!

If you don’t qualify for unemployment, then that’s your fault. But it’s an extra $ 400 for incomes of $ 50,000 or less. and an extra $ 25 if you receive unemployment benefits (if you don’t qualify for unemployment, you should have thought about that before getting fired for being on meth at work). But $ 13.00 is 3-4 lunches during the work week. it’s a 1/2 tank of gas. It’s groceries. It’s lunch money for your kid. $ 13 is a lot of money, and when millions of people spend an extra $ 13 they wouldn’t have. it makes an impact. But where did you get a $ 13 figure anyway?
Encourage them to get a job or create one.
Well unfortunately they will probably become homeleess too and then they can give their extra 13 dollars to go towards the Pork trough that the Democrats are already feasting on .
Obama`s wife even cut down the last $ 600 we had gotten as not enough….But now I`m sure this 13 dollas is real good for all of us now…Obama…change we need…I don`t think so

the 13.00 more on the pay check is only a very small part of the plan.
since I’m married it will be a extra 26.00 a week. and that will almost buy us dinner at a local restaurant and that will help the people working at that restaurant keep there jobs.

The money will be spent creating jobs. You spending $ 13 more than you currently are on a weekly basis will create more jobs than the government spending those same $ 13 in 6 to 18 months.
